Breeding a Sustainable Lifestyle
Creating self-sufficient individuals is the core aim of Vrindaranyam. Towards this end, the students shall learn to construct natural and environment friendly structures, to tap and utilize precious water properly, plant various local trees in different terrains & develop forest areas, grow natural crops and herbs, live with cows, develop grazing places, tap alternative energy sources etc.Such rich learning is made possible at Vrindaranyam to address the imminent need of the individual as well as the society at large.
Towards Village Restoration and Sustainability
Our Villages once prided themselves as the heart of great heritage and culture of our nation. Unfortunately, that is not what we see anymore. We have left them behind and now we do not even know the meaning of svabhiman (self-respect) and svavalamban (self-sufficiency). We really are at the edge of that tradition.
Vrindaranyam is an attempt to restore and sustain our villages through the education of children in that spirit. We intend to achieve this through some of our activities such as:

Encouraging local entrepreneurship & building a trustworthy market for our produce.
Protection and growth of indigenous breeds of cows, animals and birds.
Surcharging consciousness through cultural festivals and spiritual activities.
